We are located between Milwaukee and Green Bay. Served by several major highways, we are fortunate to easily access large markets. U.S. Highways in the county are 10, 151, and 441. State Highways 32, 55, 57, and 114 connect us to the State Highway 41 corridor and Interstate 43. Rail runs throughout most of the county. This efficient mode of transport runs from Menasha to Kiel. An international airport is less than an hours drive from central Calumet County. The regional airport exists within a half hours drive, and, from all cities in the county it is only a short jaunt to the county’s local airport, the New Holstein Municipal Airport.
Three area technical colleges provide assistance in employee training, industry efficiency, productivity, international business, and entrepreneurship. In addition, the Fox Valley Technical College has a regional center in Chilton, and, Lakeshore Technical College offers assistance at a branch location in Kiel. We are near three private colleges, two outstanding four-year public university campuses, and two two-year UW-Campuses.
