SBA: LOAN PREQUALIFICATION -- Great Lakes Asset Corporation located in Green Bay is an authorized lender to prequalify women, minorities, veterans, and disabled persons business applicants loans for up to $250,000 or less analyzed and potentially sanctioned by the Small Business Administration before they are taken to lenders for consideration. WHEDA: LINKED DEPOSIT LOAN SUBSIDY (LIDL) -- Administered by the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA). This program offers women and minority owned and operated businesses a 2 year interest rate subsidy on the portion of a new bank loan of $10,000 to $99,000 that covers land, building and equipment. WI COMMERCE: MINORITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LOAN -- The State Department of Commerce Bureau of Minority Business Development offers low intrest loans for real estate, equipoment, or working capital. Loans may be made for 5 to 15 years depending on the loan type. Businesses must be 51% controlled, owned, and actively managed by minority group members, and the project must retain or increase employment.
